A BILL to amend and reenact section eighteen, article nine-d, chapter eighteen of the code of West Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as amended, continuing the school building authority until the first day of July, two thousand.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That section eighteen, article nine-d, chapter eighteen of the code of West Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as amended, be amended and reenacted to read as follows:
§18-9D-18. Continuation.

Pursuant to the provisions of article ten, chapter four of this code, the school building authority shall continue to exist until the first day of July, one thousand nine hundred ninety-seven, to allow for monitoring of compliance with recommendations contained in the full-performance audit and to allow for further review by the joint committee on government operations two thousand.

NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to continue the School Building Authority until July 1, 2000, pursuant to the provisions of the West Virginia Sunset Law.
